AMAG Mission Mindanao Episodes

From Execution to Excavation: AMAG’s Hopeful Recoveries in Mindanao
For 80 years, four American heroes — Brigadier General Guy O. Fort, Lt. Col. Robert Vesey, Capt. Albert Price, and 1st Sgt. John Chandler — have remained missing after their brutal executions by Japanese forces in WWII Mindanao. Now, for the first time, the Asymmetric MIA Accounting Group (AMAG) has forged a historic partnership with the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), local Moro leaders, and the Bangsamoro Commission for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage.
In this powerful mini-series, we follow AMAG’s real-time mission — from a 96-year-old eyewitness breakthrough and a corrected 80-year-old map error to the April 2026 ground-penetrating radar deployment and targeted excavations at the old Camp Keithley execution site.
This is full-circle justice: the descendants of the Moro warriors General Fort once armed and respected are now helping bring these heroes home.
